Amazon, oh Amazon…

Well, “Anything But” did not become a free download today. [insert frowny face] Still scheduled for 1/11 as of 1 a.m. this morning, it somehow cancelled itself while I was slumbering. Of course, they claimed I cancelled it from my KDP bookshelf.

[huge eye roll]

Nay! Hogwash, I say! I have better things to do with my time than schedule a KDP giveaway, promote said giveaway to 3000 core social media contacts, then sleepwalk to my computer at some un-Godly hour and cancel it as I laugh maniacally [with eyes closed, of course] at my fiendish plan of deception. Right?

Right.

So here’s what I’ll try to do: I turn 50-something next Friday and plan to run a giveaway over the weekend. 2 days, free download. I only have two birthday wishes: One, that Amazon will actually work like it’s suppose to… and Two, that many, many Kindle owners download it!

To ensure that I have no “evil Hyde” waiting to egg my face again, I’ll ask my wife to handcuff me to the bedpost on both nights of the promotion. That way, you’ll get your download, and I’ll get some good material for my next post. [It's called multitasking, folks!]
