Beats Music Launches to Take on Spotify, Google, and Apple

The launch also marks Beats Music CEO Ian Rogers's year at the company.

Near the end of the workday Friday, an office manager at a startup in San Francisco's industrial Potrero Hill neighborhood scurried to grab a chilled bottle of sparkling wine. The company was commemorating its App Store approval: Beats Music, which launches Sunday for $10 a month.
