Blog URL Dilemma
Hey everyone :)
So, I have a bit of a dilemma.
For a long time now, I've wanted to create a custom URL for this blog. The nice thing about Blogger is that you can input a new domain name and all the links to the old blogspot URL will still work. So I've been wanting to do that for a long time.
Here's my problem. The domain name SarahAllen.com is taken. There's no website, but it's taken. I tracked down the owner of the URL and have sent a couple emails (to various email addresses) and have received no response. This seems to mean that the ideal option is not available.
My name is common enough that adding my middle initial doesn't help either. Also taken. I did however manage to nab SarahAllen.org. But that just seems a bit heavy. SarahAllenAuthor.com is also available, but that seems slightly too long.
But maybe I'm way over-thinking it? It seems I have three options. First, keep trying to contact the owner of SarahAllen.com, maybe even paying godaddy to track them down for me. Or else, go with SarahAllen.org or SarahAllenAuthor.com, the best secondary options I've come up with. Or maybe there's another possibility I haven't thought of yet.
Basically, what do you think? Which do you think is the best option? I could use lots of ideas and input.
