Still Struggling With POV

I haven't touched my latest project in two weeks. I'm almost afraid of it. This is the first time I've ever had trouble loving my characters. And I still think it's because I haven't tried writing from the male main character's point of view. He's itching to tell his side of the story. I have just never done third person omniscient before.
