The Twelfth Day of Christmas

Isaiah 60:1-3 (NASB)

60 “Arise, shine; for your light has come,

And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth

And deep darkness the peoples;

But the Lord will rise upon you

And His glory will appear upon you.

3 “Nations will come to your light,

And kings to the brightness of your rising.

Lord God, Who put the stars in the sky, You created a special star to announce the birth of Jesus to kings from afar. Your glory rose in the star and led the Magi to the young child, bringing all peoples into the Light of the Word. We praise You for Your great glory and for shining Your Light on us. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
