Our Move to Wistia for Streaming Videos
If you’ve been around OSTraining for a while, you know that we offer a LOT of video tutorials. At the time of this posting, we serve up over 1,500 videos to tens of thousands of people!
Streaming video for training has really exploded over the past few years. From Kahn Academy to MOOC's, online training via video is very popular. Some general stats regarding online video are here.
Over the summer of 2013, we began moving our videos to Wistia. We completed the move on September 30th and we’re very pleased with the results! I’d like to share some of the reasons for the move and some of the enhancements we’ll be introducing in 2014.
