work:

In 2014 I’m working on a contemporary romance series, and a historical romance series.  I don’t know how much fantasy I will write.  I may drop other side projects.  I’ve only got so much time and I REALLY want to make the most of it between now and summer break!  I published 20 works last year plus columns, plus *being published,* so I feel like I can pull off my goals if I just buckle down.

life:

We’re all very happy.  We can’t keep up with the laundry, so nothing has changed, really.  In 2014 I hope to find the local farmer’s market in my new town and make good use of it.  I want to exercise more.  I hope to see the kids get more involved in extra-curricular things.

love:

Never been happier.

friends:

Never been happier.

2013:

We lost a lot (babies), we achieved a lot and accomplished things we wanted/needed (jobs, house), we rode out a lot of pain, frustration, and stress.  And we’ve never been happier.  Our family is better than ever, despite all the change.  We had an awesome *everything*.  Every single day of my life I knew I was loved, and I know my kids felt that from us, as well.  I wasn’t always perfect—not just with the kids, but in any regard—but I’ve never been happier.

2014:

Here’s to better health, making progress, taking care of those who need loving tenderness, and caring enough for our own well-being to say “no” to the blight of bare-faced greedy marauders seeking to destroy, kill, and steal as they go.

because you always ask:

It was 2 years ago on the 26th since Mom died, and I’m fine.  I cry sometimes because I miss her.  I do not miss my siblings.  The only one I care about keeps in the touch.  The rest are out of my hands.  I am at peace with that.

That’s the best I could wish for anyone who’s been through that.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!!!
