Dogs and wolves are related. They can interbreed. So why are they so different? Because dogs read human emotions and wolves don’t. Unless the wolf shares a mind link with a human, like Snowball in Wolf Legend. Unfortunately, it’s a story. But wouldn’t it be wonderful if it was true? Wouldn’t you like to know how wolves think? Or maybe not if all you’d get from the wolf was that you could be a tasty snack. Or if the wolf was laughing at you for being such a wimpy, weakling.

Lilo Well, I don't know what wolves are thinking, for there are none in our area. But I know what coyotes are thinking. They think, 'When will some of those well-fed Happy Cats Ranch cats finally venture out far enough so that we can grab and eat them?' And I know what our dogs are thinking. They think, 'Let's take the next chance to take off and chase deer.' And I know what our cats are thinking. They think, 'Humans are stupid.' and they are not entirely wrong. :-)

So what do wolves think? I guess I'll have to read your book to find out. :-)
