Soapnuts, anyone …?

I’ve only just discovered them. Which means they’ve probably been around for years: I have a tendency to remain in the dark about [X] for yonks, and then cry, in pleased surprise, “Oh! – isn’t [X] WONDERFUL?” so that those around me snigger at my out-of-dateness (I just created that adjective: feel free to plagiarise).

OK, who among you has used them, please? – and what do you have to tell me about them?

I bought a sampler of ’em (with little bag), and have just done a washload. Seems absolutel...
