Introduction

I'm S J Lewis. I've been writing erotic fiction novels since 2003, and even today some readers aren't sure if I'm a man or a woman. I'm a man, just to clear that up. I have ten novels published so far, and very little feedback from any readers as to what they thought about my work. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone with something to say here, be it good or bad.

Red I would love to tell you what I think. From the descroptions of some of your books they seem to be a little on the extreme side maybe some people feel intimidated reviewing them. I don't know. Me, if I am going to read it and you really want to know good bad or ugly then I'll tell you. I don't always read "hardcore" erotica but every once in awhile a love to. What book would you recommend that I start with and are all of your books available on amazon?

S.J. Lewis As for recommendations, "Female Prey" is usually the first book of mine that someone reads. I've had some people refer to it as hard-core. "Claudia's Surrender" is also on the hard-core side, but it's all about the relationship between one man and one woman. It's also a crime novel, and it features one of my most interesting female characters. "The Dark Woods" has a very hard-core novella and six short stories that run from hard-core to somewhat romantic to fantasy. All ten of my books are available on Amazon. Choose what you like, and let me know what you think.

Red I also wanted to tell you that I forwarded your information to a couple of friends on here there that read that as well. One in particular would be a very good resource for you. I told her to email you and let you know. She is going to start with a different book than myself.

S.J. Lewis Thank you! My publisher tells me that women make up about half of the customers at Pink Flamingo, but until recently I haven't heard from any of them.

Hi - I am the "One in particular" friend of Jennifer's that she referenced me on message 3. I bought your "The Dark Woods" last two weekends ago at Pink Flamingo. I would be happy to talk to you about my thoughts. I haven’t read it yet but I have “looked at some of the dirty parts” (the shame I feel) sigh. Any hoo…woman don’t usually leave reviews on those kind of books because we feel as though we would be judged and should feel ashamed that we liked “Dark Erotica”. Jennifer and I just started a “Dark Erotica” group site on Goodreads to try to help out others of us that like the “Darker” side to our erotica.
You can send your email address and I will be happy to contact you about my thoughts if you are interested. :)

S.J. Lewis Well, of course I'm interested, but how do we exchange email addresses?

S.J. Lewis For anyone unfamiliar with my writing who'd like a sample or two, go to www.freeeroticstoriessite.com and select 'S J Lewis' as author. I have two short stories posted there, and other authors have even more posted. It's all free, so enjoy yourselves.

S.J. Lewis One thing that I tried to do, at least in my early books, was write about strong female characters. I can say that I think I succeeded with two of them. One was Claudia, from 'Vacation' and 'Claudia's Surrender'. The other was Kimberley, from 'Female Prey' and 'The Elusive Prey'. I'd like to ask anyone who has read any of those books to share their thoughts with me about those two characters.

I have read both 'Female Prey' and 'The Elusive Prey' and truly loved both books. I enjoyed seeing the development of Kimberley's character from the first book to the second. I have to admit 'Female Prey' is my favorite of the two and I was kind of hoping for an "Alpha" showing in 'The Elusive Prey' but at the end I was not disappointed. I also enjoyed 'Hunting Party' as well. I truly enjoy your work and have defiantly put you on my "authors to follow list". I look forward to reading about Claudia next.
