DC has relaunched The Spirit again, and this time it's a darker, grittier Denny Colt as a private investigator approach. No sidekick, unless you count Commissioner Dolan. Mark Schultz' captions might be right out of a novel by Mike Hammer, though his dialogue does allow a bit of humor here and there. The overall feel is more like a mix of film noir, Batman, and Eisner's Spirit, with the latter taking a back seat much of the time. Not terrible, but I'm not...
