I would have never known
that everything you once said to me,
and everything that you once 
claimed to have felt would have
deteriorated almost as quickly
as the love that I created for you.
I used up all of my time
trying to get you to see
that what we could build together
would be something
that was worth sticking around for.
I just wish that you would have told me
what you wanted from the start,
instead of leading me to the end
just to tell me that you can longer
love me in the way that you used to.
