I made the Black List (a good one) + US book tour dates!

My screenplay for A Monster Calls has made the Black List (which is a good thing, indeed) for the best currently unproduced screenplays in Hollywood.  The Hollywood Reporter has a good explanation (and I have strong, strong hopes that the "currently unproduced" part changes soon!).

Update -- US TOUR DETAILS!! I'm on a book tour of the US for The Crane Wife from 24-31 January that sees me spanning the country from WA to CA to MN to MI to MA to CT.  A whole ton of places, so PLEASE check the Events page for full details (but I'm pasting them below, too):

23 January - ABA Winter Institute in Seattle for booksellers (but a bookstore visit in Seattle, too, stay tuned)

24 January - Bellingham, WA (Bellingham! I know! I've got relatives there!) at Village Books at 7pm.

25 January - Seattle, WA at University Bookstore at 7pm http://(DOES NOT CONFLICT w/any Seahawk game)

Elias I've heard about the Black List (from Empire Magazine), and those almost alwas turn out great i.e. Looper and Source Code. Also looking forward to the Chaos Walking movie. Charlie Kaufman, the screenwriter, can be a bit of a weirdo but I believe that he'll do a great job on this.
