Cool, Quirky Telegram (and other stuff delivered without irony)

OK. I know I just used the words "cool" and "quirky" in the subject line to describe my stalwart local paper and employer, but you know what? I regret nothing! Because there's all sorts of cool, offbeat stuff in today's paper.
