Merry Christmas to all!
Since tis the season, I figured it would be appropriate to feature some Christmas themed erotica. I have never read this type of erotica before, but when I read this story, I cannot say that the overall tone of the story left me surprised. This story is meant to bring warmth to the heart as well as every other naughty bit. In the effort to bring warmth, some of the heat gets lost in translation.
The story is told from the perspective of a photographer named Dan. He takes pictures of kids with Santa and he has to dress as an elf all day to do it. One mother of a difficult child catches his eye. He also has an ongoing fantasy about having sex with a female elf in Santa’s chair in the middle of the mall. While he is putting all Christmas items away on Christmas Eve, the mother comes back in a makeshift elf costume and the fun begins.
I did like the story and the positive message that it sent. It was just a basic “no need to be alone on the holidays” telling, but it did have a charm. It is possible to relate to Dan and get behind him as a person. First person perspective though makes for a strange situation when the man describes his body more than he describes the woman’s, but that is how you do it in female oriented erotica.
The sex scene lacked, to the detriment of the story. There was an added element of possibly being caught, but that did not make up for the restrained description and feeling that the author did not want to risk being too raunchy for a Christmas story.
If you are looking for a short, heartwarming story with a little sex thrown in, you may enjoy this one.
