Black Dust Mambo Featured Title on BN.com Book Club

I thrilled that Black Dust Mambo is a July featured read on BN.com's Paranormal & Urban Fantasy Book Club.

And you can learn even more about the book on BN.com's Paul Goat Allen's blog.

"Even after almost 20 years as a genre fiction book reviewer, I’m still surprised—shocked—by how many mediocre writers hit it big while other singularly brilliant novelists wallow in obscurity. For example, in urban fantasy the most underrated writer is unarguably Adrian Phoenix, author of one of the coolest, thematically deepest, and most wildly entertaining series ever written in the genre: The Maker’s Song (A Rush of Wings, In the Blood, Beneath the Skin, and the forthcoming Etched in Bone), which features vampire goth rock star Dante Baptiste and former FBI special agent Heather Wallace."

Amanda I have to agree with the reviewer - you are definitely one of the best writers on the market today! Congrats on being featured not once, but twice, on B&N's book club this year.

Stephanie Congratulations, Adrian! I met you at Powell's last month and after having you read some of Black Dust Mambo to the crowd, I was dying to know what else happened in the book. I went home and started reading Black Dust Mambo that same evening and finished it the very next day. I LOVED the new book, and have been telling all of my friends to read your books, too. :)
