Unplugging

This is the first time in days that I've gone near a computer. I was on vacation this week - finally! - after a very long period of solid work.
The hardest part of getting myself to relax was unplugging. I'm not just talking about the computer, but all of the electronic gear. No cell phone, no laptop, no logging onto relative's machines, and very little TV.
I read a book this week. I swam in the Atlantic Ocean. I had ice cream. I remembered what it was like not to check email every five...
