Core Training

I'm finishing work on the follow up to Pump Me Up.  It's entitled Core Training and I hope to have it submitted in the next week or so.  I thought I'd post an excerpt to get your opinion.  Please keep in mind that this is completley unedited, so please forgive my mistakes. 

“Happy Birthday,” The little blonde girl perked from behind the counter after scanning his membership card. 

“Thanks,” Hugh responded with absolutely no enthusiasm whatsoever.  He gave her the best smile he could muster...
