writers, even my favourites, like George Gissing,
I would read maybe two a year. The times I have
been "forced" into multiple reads (2 in a row)
have been when I have books to read from a library.
I remember reading a couple of Gillian White's
books in a row and I didn't enjoy
them as much as if I spaced them out.



Some writers can turn them out on a regular basis and always be readable. James Reasoner does that and is never boring. I've not read even a small part of his more than three hundred novels, but I have dipped into his books from his earliest days. Never fail to be entertained.
