The Most Beautiful Abandoned Railway Station in the World
This is an abandoned railway station in Abkhazia, former Russian territory. It stays untouched since the collapse of USSR – the railway connection of Abkhazia and Russia stopped and railway station left out of demand so nature could take over the left-overs of Soviet architecture.

These images are very hauntingly beautiful with the sort of decayed majesty that I just love.
However, I should note that Abkhazia is not former Russian territory: it is former Georgian territory that broke away from Georgia in the 1990s following Georgia’s own independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Following an invasion in the 1920s, Georgia was incorporated into the USSR as its own Soviet Socialist Republic, so while it was part of Soviet territory it was not Russian territory.
