What’s That, Mr. Timer? Yes, I’m Indebted to You.

What's that, Mr. Timer? Yes, I'm Indebted to YouThis post is about focus, goals and maintaining balance. Read on for a new take on an old idea.

The original idea came from my physiotherapist as he was trying to iron out the stiff spots.

Knowing that I’m a full time writer, and pretty much anything I do full time is limited in some way because of Scoliosis, he advised me to get up and do some prescribed stretches every thirty minutes.

I looked at him oddly, thinking he has no idea.

Once I get writing, the only thing that stops me is my bladder....

A.R. Simmons I use the kitchen stove timer, and frequently turn the annoying thing off. Is that because of the way I was raised and taught to attack work?

A.R. that depends; what annoying thing are you turning off: the stove timer or the internet? ;) It's great to attack work, but if your task list is long and you get caught up with one, it's best to space your time. I hope that helps :)

A.R. Simmons Thank you, Sandy. I'm afraid that I'm afflicted with whatever the opposite of ADHD is. OCD?
(I do enjoy your posts.)
