Jeremy worked on Simon’s Christmas present, a pair of old fashioned shackles. He knew Simon wouldn’t use them, but they were perfect for a gag gift and they’d be pretty enough for display. He had tickets for them to take a cruise for his big gift. Him and his master on a boat in the Caribbean.
He let the hammer fall, the rhythm and work as comfortable as breathing. The forge burned, sweat soaked him, and he was in the zone, zooming.
Life was good, thank God and Santa was coming.
