The Tiller and the Song

I’ve finally published the third book of The Heart of the Caveat Whale trilogy! I was so exhausted after finishing this book that it’s taken me four days to announce it. Sometimes it’s hard to say goodbye!

Kindle Cover 4 copy

This YA Fantasy was a lot of fun to write. Before I started the first book, I was absolutely terrified of the ocean, to the point where I had to walk out of the room if an underwater documentary played on the TV. Now I absolutely love the wildness of the ocean! By the time I finished writing this trilogy, I probably knew enough to at least carry a conversation with a marine biologist. Imagining the deep ocean fight scenes pushed me way outside of my comfort zone on so many levels. But here’s to a trilogy finished and a fear overcome!

If you’re interested in learning more about the creatures in these novels, both real and imagined, check out the website for The Heart of the Caveat Whale!
