Tired CNA A lot of my favs on your list! Especially Chuck Palahniuk and Gillian Flynn. Got tired of Stephan Kings new works too wordy for me glad I got turned on to his son Joe Hill live his style. So intense. I am a new fan of yours. Can't wait to read your latest. Having trouble buying it for my Nook not showing up in the store.

Jeremy Maddux Your reading tastes are all over the place, much like mine. On a side note, I just finished My Fake War last week, and I found it a nice contemporary nod to Kafka's The Trial, only leveled at the military industrial complex instead of the 'justice' system.

David I just started Gillian Flynn this year myself. I also read "Sharp Objects" but I would say that is not as good as the other two. "Gone Girl" reminded me of both Agatha Christie's disappearance and also a little bit of Rebecca by du Maurier. I haven't a read a mass-market book that much suited to my personal tastes.

"Psychopath Test" was great, too. Jon Ronson is a guy I will always read. I would suggest that you read "Them" and "The Men Who Stare at Goats" if you haven't already. I haven't checked out your books, yet... but I think this will change soon. I think that an author's tastes can often say a lot about her writing.

Also, I am looking to read "Shock Value" as well Foer.
