
Modern cosmology is so inextricably linked to quantum mechanics that a full understanding of the former is not possible without a proper understanding of the latter. This essay explores the history and theory of quantum mechanics, but this discussion will involve some of the most bizarre concepts and theories in modern science. Not even theoretical physicists understand them completely.
