Just heard a really insulting thing on CBC about how we should combat childhood obesity by taxing pop.
Because that’ll stop people!
Don’t offer education or support, don’t encourage and subsidize healthy foods and sports/exercise.
No. Treat the entire population like children who can’t be allowed to make their own decisions. Don’t reward good choices, only punish bad ones. (Because negative reinforcement is the best way to train animals, right?) Tack a few extra cents on those puppies. That’ll make people stop wanting to drink pop.
