This makes me sad.... I can't get satellite or cable so I guess I'll have to miss out :( Maybe it will come out on DVD eventually I guess though. I love the Shannara series and I hope the show does well. I also loved the Sword of Truth series though and was so disappointed with that show (mostly the acting). I hope Shannara is done better.

I doubt I will get television service set up just for this show, but I will gladly watch it on Hulu, Netflix, or DVD.
I remember when the Music TeleVision channel had music on it. That said, this is the first of their non-music related programming I can actually get behind. I'm a bit worried but willing to give it a shot. Here's hoping it turns out to be great!
My dad got me hooked on the book series when I was in middle school, we are both VERY excited for this :D
WoW! I think this would make an excellent TV series - I sincerely hope the end result is shared with other channels and broadcast over here in UK :-) (or at least comes out on DVD so I don't miss it!!)
I'll keep an open mind because I love the Shannara series and have been hoping for a live action adaptation for years.
