VINDALOO AND THE T-BIRD--sometimes the besties are the oldies

VINDALOO AND THE T-BIRD- available again at the Kindle store

Race made a mistake when he walked away from Vin, the kind of mistake there's no fixing. But when he sees the old T-Bird on the sales lot, he starts to wonder… If he can convince Vin to help him, they could bring something beautiful back to life -- something that's been damaged nearly beyond repair. And maybe he can repair the heart he broke while they're saving the old T-Bird.

I love stories about second chances, since I manage to screw up so much in my own life. I swear, sometimes I think I’ll be on my deathbed, talking to the angels: “Look, just give me one more chance. I’ll work harder, I promise…”

Here’s the new cover- I think it’s a beauty:

I like long hair, too- I always picture Vin from behind, with his ponytail swishing back and forth- but I love the kindness in his eyes, and humor.

The MIDWAY! Cool beans!

My dad was somewhere in a nuclear submarine in 1968- he still won't say--I watched Walter Cronkite every night just in case I could get a glimpse of him- I was sure he was in Khe Shan or somewhere equally desperate. The Navy Nurses who trained me were all Vietnam Vets- the hospital ships, like the Mercy. When we went to war in 1990, I went on the new hospital ship- the USNS Comfort- a refitted oil tanker. Anyway--I love you Navy guys!
