My dr. has wanted me to try it, but I'm afraid of the side effects. Plus, you don't know if it will actually work or not. I'm still debating as everything else either doesn't work, only works for a short time or I have a bad reaction to it. :(
Never heard of this treatment before. How fascinating. It'll be interesting to hear if it works - my sister gets bad migraines.
I won't be trying the botox for migraines as mine have pretty much disappeared. I've only had a few really minor ones since June 1. The secret? I quit smoking! Who knew?! :)
FWIW, my neurologist recommended that I switch chiropractors to one who practices the Atlas Orthogonal Technique. Over the last 20 years I've seen about 10 different chiro's in 6 states. Comparing their "treatments" with the AO technique is like night and day. AO corrects the CAUSES of my misalignment whereas the other chiro's "bandaid" treatments targeted only the SYMPTOMS of my misalignment. The non-AO treatments clumsily removed some of my symptoms, but after a couple of weeks I was back at square one.
Before switching to AO treatments I had at least 6 migraines/month. After only 4 months of AO, I now have zero migraines.
