First there was Black Friday. Then there is Cyber Monday. Today, however, I want to introduce you #GivingTuesday.

What is #GivingTuesday?

According to givingtuesday.org, #GivingTuesday™ is a movement to create a national day of giving to kick off the giving season added to the calendar on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

This is the second annual Giving Tuesday and it’s on December 3, 2013. In the same way that retail stores take part in Black Friday, the goal is to bring the community together for #GivingTuesday.
