Mom left her camera lying around, so I decided to get with the program and take a selfie. Mom is always taking pictures of me, but I never let her get close enough to show the details, like my eyebrows, the way the fur outlines my eyes, the subtle mauve of my nose, or the understated sneer of which I’m so justly proud.
