Let’s Go Hawaiian—Maui Chicken Recipe
Tired of Thanksgiving turkey? Try this or bring some aloha flavor to your turkey leftovers.
Island home of Tutu Mily and Teah—Here is a favorite chicken dish from Maui
Ingredients
6 boneless chicken breasts
2 Tbsp oil
20 oz pineapple chunks
1/4 vinegar
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp soy sauce
1 minced clove garlic
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Red or green peppers optional
Directions
1. Brown chicken in oil.
2. Combine remaining ingredients.
3. Pour over chicken.
4. Cover and cook at 400 degrees 30 minutes or till cooked through.
Best served with rice.
