Learning The Ropes

Hi all,

Chris here, taking a few moments to scribble out a few words. As I'm growing closer to the release of my book, LITTLE VICTORIES: A TALE OF DIVORCE, DEBAUCHERY AND FINDING HAPPINESS, I'm entering a brand new world. There's so much that I don't know. Seeing sites like GoodReads has opened my eyes to the world of reading. It's so different to me. As someone that doesn't read a ton of books, the only ways I knew to even find books prior to writing one are old school - recommendations from friends, knowing the author or finding it in a Borders or Walmart. I had no idea about online boards and whatnot.

Simply put, it's amazing to see the wide open expression of ideas about books here. Unlike the old days where you had to have someone to inform you about a book to ever hear about it, now you can do a search on a topic and it's not only there, but you can get real feedback from real people who have similar ideas. It's very cool.

So for today, I inch forward to my release, and I hope people will investigate my book the way they do so many others! I look forward to your input - positive or negative.
