Pop Culture A-Go-Go ...

Excellent time co-featuring for StreetBeat's 10th anniversary last night. Not a huge crowd, but an enthusiastic and attentive one, and a very nice open mic, too. All in all, a great time. And there was CAKE!

Afterward, caught up with friends celebrating Sarah S.'s birthday at Nick's. Drank Manhattans, listened to torch songs and was regaled by a story of lesbians hot-tubbing in a Canadian mansion. Seriously fun night.
