Preserved in the National Library of the Philippines is a copy of the Trial of Bonifacio. Contrary to the assertion of a historian who made the ridiculous declaration that Andres Bonifacio was killed during his capture in Limbon on April 26, 1897 and did not stand trial we have Bonifacio's signature with a flourish on a page of the trial document dated May 4, 1897. Note that he also signed his Katipunan name "Maypagasa." The Supremo was executed on May 10, 1897 in Mt. Nagpatong near Mt. Buntis in the Maragondon range in Cavite.
