Dates And Updates

I'll start with the updates.

My mother's in the hospital. I haven't gotten over to see her yet, but my understanding is from my brother (who came over yesterday to see what was going on, and got stuck with the emergency room duty)that she has pneumonia, which seems to have been caught nice and early.
