Finished with NaNo!

For the first time since 2010 I finished my NaNoWriMo project. Actually, it was two projects. One was the final book of my trilogy, and the other was a nonfiction (does that count?). I had fun plowing away through these projects, plumbing the depths of my creative wells, but boy am I glad to be finished!!!

Whew!

Will I do this again next year? Maybe, but if I do, it’s not for the win. Why? Winning was so exhausting this year, even though I was way ahead of schedule.

For those who don’t know, NaNoWriMo is the National Novel Writing Month. It’s a time where people determine to write 50,000 words in one month. And remain sane. No, I made up that last part. But some wild and wonderful things are created during the month of November!

I’m thankful for Thanksgiving and a reminder to take a rest.
