A Sparrow’s Day

my newest brush painting. still experimenting

with rice paper i bought in taipei. this particular one

was very thick compared to the previous, and was

perfect for the more detailed strokes for the hydrangeas.

i really enjoyed painting the flowers–it was meditative for me.

the sparrows were the last added to this painting.

they are really enjoying this spring day. 8)
