Mr. Maxum St. Laurents
Prin> /curls up in the comfy chair, knocking one of the cats off only to have another hope up next to me. I ignore the cat and direct my attention to my guest who waits with a patient business face that somehow makes me blush, though I have no clue why. But it was nice// Welcome and thanks for joining us.
Maxum> /smiles// Thanks for having me.
Prin> You are quite the busy man, I wasn’t sure you’d make it.
Maxum> You appealed to my weakness and bribed me with wine.
Prin> I did, didn’t I? /blushes// I’m just amazed at how quickly you got here and on such short notice.
Maxum > /chuckles// That’s what fast cars are made for.
Prin> Hold that thought. First, I want to give our viewers the stats on you. Your name is Maxum St. Laurents, Even at a young age of 36; you are already Founder and CEO of your own financial business as well as one third owner of Salientis du Deliciarum Island Resort. A clean even 6’0” with shaggy, dirty brown hair kept groomed…
Maxum > Shaggy? Did Darko put you up to this?
Prin> /blushes// I will never tell.
Maxum > Well it’s not true. It’s only disheveled after a hard romp of sex with Darko. Which is frequent.
Prin> I will take your word for it. In getting back to that thought on hold, you are an avid car collector. How many cars do you actually own?
Maxum > Hmm… /taps fingers together in thought// I’m up to forty-three collective pieces now.
Prin> Wow! And which is your favorite?
Maxum > Well, they are all my favorite, which is why I have them, but in the way of which ones I play with the most, among the exotic sports car: the Pagani Zonda Roadster and the Bugatti Veyron Blanc are at the very top. Among my classics, I love taking my ‘36 Auburn Boattail out or the 1930 Bentley Blower.
Prin> Now in the series, we never got to see you in Becoming His Slave. Why is that?
Maxum> The truth? I didn’t even exist until Darko pulled over to play hero and ruined my suit, but in the scheme of the story, I suppose it’s because I’ve, up ‘til now, been a silent partner with the Dominion brothers.
Prin> In A Place for Cliff, we got the first glimpse of you at the Laszkovi Thanksgiving gathering. What was that like for you?
Maxum> Bastard tricked me. I was so pissed.
Prin> What stopped you from leaving?
Maxum> Are you kidding me? /growls a bit// Aside from Darko’s mind boggling cock? Lust. Plain and simple: Lust.
Prin> Not Love?
Maxum> I was firmly in denial at the time.
Prin> /giggles// And doing terribly at it. What about after, when you were finally surrounded by the family?
Maxum> /he scratches at his ear a moment, as if nervous to connect with those feelings// It was strange… and complicated. I was already falling for Darko, and fighting it inwardly with tooth and nail. He was only supposed to be an affair… /he wipes over his lip with a long slow stroke// I wasn’t feeling good about where I was. My life with Simeon had long since died out, but I didn’t want to be just another gay man failing in the love department. So, I kept trying to make that relationship work. Yet, I was starved for attention, affection and yes, sex. I’m a sex-a-holic and proudly so. Darko was quickly filling all of those needs when he was only supposed to feed the sex. Needless to say, I was getting really confused. Seeing his family and all the love and support they had, even with many of them being gay; they even stood by each other when the one brother showed up with his wife. Do you have any idea how rare that is? Even in a family of just straight people? It was scary stuff. Big time denial.
Prin> I hear you are quite the sculling fan now?
Maxum> /chuckles// Hard not to be a fan with all that blood pumping mancandy skimming across the river.
Prin> So now we finally get to your book: Rough Attraction. And it kicks off with the oddly romantic highway scene we all heard about in A Place for Cliff about Darko coming to the rescue. Were you surprised that you and Darko would be starring in the third book of the series?
Maxum> /he shifted in his seat, dropping an elbow on the arm rest and props his chin up with an expression of calculation// You know, I really never gave it much thought. I suppose the real surprise is that after Becoming his Slave the entire series would shift away from the Dominion Brothers . Not for just one or two books but book four is also dedicated to the Laszkovi brothers. It’s not until book five when the story comes back around to the five brothers. At the same time as I see the development of the world around the brothers, I think it’s great, because then you really have a sense for all the others in the series. Who they are, and how we’re all connected, because in books five and six, it’s all going to matter. You’ll need to know ahead of time who everyone is and why they are there. There is so much action packed in book five, there won’t be time to sidestep for sub characters.
Prin> Ohh Myy, Diesel and Paris. So many reader fans keep asking about them. Care to leak any succulent tidbits?
Maxum> /he lets out a naughty laugh// Not particularly. Diesel would pin me down and never let me up again. But he has plans for that imp, as I understand.
Prin> Not even the smallest hint of what to expect? /waves a bottle of Daniel Bouju Cognac//
Maxum> /chuckles again// That’s not even the expensive stuff.
Prin> /pouts// I can’t afford the expensive stuff.
Maxum> I will say, it’s expected to be another super-sized novel and you’ll be either on the seat of your pants or taking them off often enough. A lot of action in that one. Oh and…/growls// there is this really hot scene with me and Darko in it. /clears throat and slowly with a failing attempt to be inconspicuous, drops a hand in his lap to adjusts his slacks //
Prin> And book six?
Maxum> Sworn to secrecy. /grins//
Prin> Okay, so back to you and Darko. Who ‘wears the pants’ in a relationship with two Tops?
Maxum> I do, but don’t tell Darko that. He loves a challenge.
Prin> And what are your greatest weaknesses?
Maxum> Wine, fancy over-priced foods, fast cars and Darko. But again, don’t tell him. He is so not opposed to taking advantage of me. /chuckles// I never get any work done anymore.
Prin> /laughs/// Such a torturous arrangement, I’m sure. So how has your bourgeois life changed after taking on the rough-and-tumbled Darko into your life?
Maxum> /he drew in a deep breath as he angled his face down a moment, but I could see a deep happiness there and as he looked back up, it lit up in his eyes, melting away whatever might have troubled him, had it ever existed// I am the luckiest cock sucker to ever live. Pun intended. /he wiggled his brows playfully//
Prin> You always have this lust for the best of everything, even your home inside the Gehry-Beekman Tower. Any plans to move? Say, out towards the Hampton’s?
Maxum> Not a chance. I mean, look at that view… /points to the photo// Darko snapped that off while I was making love to him just before breakfast. If we moved out to the Hamptons, I’d have to be in the road already for that long commute. I love my cars, but not that much. I definitely love Darko more.
Prin> Awww… and this next question is from a fan, who wants to know: how much you pay for your haircut?
Maxum > /laughs aloud a moment// Is this fan clairvoyant? Because, I used to pay upwards of around $275.00 a visit. That is, until Darko discovered my hairdresser is the same man I once dated some years back. Now I pay $17.00 down at the corner barber shop.
Prin> Any last words before we close the bottle?
Maxum > Let go of the things that don’t make you happy, and make room for the things that do. Then, whether you set yourself on cruise control or its petal to the metal, just keep your eyes on the horizon. There are great things to be sampled and some to be had.
