Silver Phoenix Labs: Geeky Ways to Spend the Winter

Oh, it’s that blessed time of year—not! The east coast gets slammed with hurricanes, and the mid-west is plagued with ridiculous wind and snow. Humanity as we know it, with the exception of those who love the snow, retreat indoors to keep warm. Can we all say brrr…
But don’t you fret! There is always something to do, and lots of fun ways to stay warm. 
I personally look forward to the winter for a variety of reasons, and today I thought I’d list my favorite things to do, in the winter at home:
WATCH all the Aliens movies over again. Lord only knows I’m going to wear out my DVD’s soon. In fact, that wouldn’t be so bad of an idea. I’d be that much closer to getting them in Blu-ray. 
PLAY Mass Effect again. Gotta have me some Commander Sheppard action. Just don’t tell my husband that.
READ for pleasure, research for upcoming projects, and review some scandalous and titillating novels.
And last but not least…
WALK through a local conservation hub trail. Now that the bears are happily snoring away, I can leisurely walk through here without worrying that some black bear is going to have my ass for dinner.
Yup, that pretty much summarizes how my winter is going to go.
