Fifty years ago a programme started that sparked the imagination of children like no other. Black and white and a bit wobbly, for some reason it is still buried deep in our psyche. The phrase 'BBC Radiophonic Workshop' means only one theme tune to many of us. The word 'EXTERMINATE' still sends a shiver down our spines.
