I was asked by the author to read and review this book. I'm not quite sure what to think about it to be honest with you. I can say that if you want a nice traditional romantic novel, then this one is probably not for you.
This is a story about a young woman who witnessed her father murder her mother, and then the father turned her into a sex slave to keep her quiet about it. After years of this sexual abuse, she eventually manages to escape by committing a fully justified murder.
A stranger takes her in and helps her get back on her feet. An unconventional relationship forms between the two of them, but I would hesitate to call it a romance in the normal sense of the word. It eventually involves paid escorts, girl on girl sex, and a ménage à trois.
Of course, she also attempts to track down her father to get her revenge on him. I'll let you decide whether or not she is successful.
I enjoyed the book, but I could see where others might not. If you do not go into the book expecting a Fifty Shades style romance story, and if you keep your mind open, you might enjoy the book as well.
