One wonders to what extent the British inquiry will reveal the war crimes perpetrated by Bush and Cheney. But here is the full Cameron statement, the statement Obama never made and won't fulfill. For Obama, a history of government-sanctioned torture takes second fiddle to political cowardice. He has not said the equivalent of these words:

We need to restore Britain's moral
leadership in the world. That's why we are determined to
clear things up.
