I think this was Oscar Wilde's pithy translation of the wise old line from the Bhagavad Gita that it's better to live your own life imperfectly than to live a perfect imitation of somebody else's…


Also, the older I get, the more difficult it becomes for me to be anyone but myself, anyhow. Whether this is because I'm just to tired and lazy to fake alternate identities anymore, or whether I am settling (like an old house) deeper into my own true foundations, I don't know.


One way or another, let us all make an effort today embrace (or at least surrender to) our essential us-ness!
