Ecofiction:

I was told recently that my writing can be considered ecofiction. So I looked up ecofiction to find out what they were talking about. Seems that ecofiction is any fiction in which the setting is of great importance in the story. So they are right, my work is ecofiction. I am incapable of writing anything without the setting becoming a part of the story and, since I live in the north woods, that’s mostly the setting I write about. So I recently learned something about myself and my stories.
