Microsoft Releases “3D Builder” Touchscreen 3DP App Today

storepreview5-1 Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Shanen Boettcher, General Manager of Product Management at Microsoft about their 3D Builder graphical touchscreen application for Windows 8.1, slotted for release at midnight GMT today, Nov. 15. 3D Builder incorporates a combination of slicer and client software plus integrated Windows drivers for several popular 3D printers to provide a easy-to-use desktop manufacturing experience that aims to make it simple for the average consumer to get into 3D printing quickly.
