A peek inside the mind of Stephen King via Secret Windows—An "Essential"

Stephen KingEvery now and then I come across a book that I didn't know I wanted but once I read it, I wondered how I managed without it. In this case, the book is Secret Windows by Stephen King—one of my Essentials.

Now I have to admit that, aside from On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft , King's book on the writer's craft, I have steered clear of his books—not, I hasten to add, because they are no good but rather because they are too good!

Quite simply, they scare the bejesus out of me!
