FACT; During Q3 of this year Viagra has reportedly taken its first rise in sales since Q4 of 2012… Did my next guest influence that, and moreover did she invest in Viagra shares prior to publishing her debut novel? Enough teasers…it’s time to reveal my next guest on Simons 10 Q Interviews…

We are of course talking of M. J. Summers, the debut author who, until little over a week ago, was unheard of within publishing circles. She has taken amazon by storm, seemingly reaching the parts that few other novels in 2013 have been able to; Nos #1 in genre on the first day of release and reaching #57 of the Top #100 amazon books within a week.

I hear cries of “Selling Sex, it’s a sure thing, easy to create swelling sales figures and bulging bank balances!”

Really? Maybe for the likes of Jackie Collins or someone with enviable celebrity links. But, for the millions of attempts each year, very few tickle the top spot and I suggest only a handful reach the ultimate climax within the Top #100 books, for any length of time….

I must be honest, it is not my genre of choice, in fact such books are banned from promoting on the Facebook Group Book Lovers for which I am the admin… But, the fact remains – with the nation and many avenues of promotion closed to her, how does a suburban housewife with little knowledge of promotion, an average following on social networks and no experience of the world of publishing, just how has she achieved what hundreds of authors attempt and fail to achieve in their entire careers, and how has she achieved it within a single week….

It’s the million dollar question to which I have no premature answer… But, come again in a week or so and MJ will reveal the the naked truth to you all.
