In Others’ Words: Veterans

Veterans Day 2013Today we honor our veterans — the men and women who have served our country in the military:

Air Force
Army
Navy
Marines
Coast Guard

My husband is one of those veterans, and so are many of our friends. Some of our friends lost their lives while serving in the military — paying the ultimate sacrifice changed their families forever. The military community is just that — a community that cares for one another. I met a lot of heroes during the years we were a military family — service members, as well as the families supporting them.

Thank you, veterans. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed. America is a better country — a stronger country — because of your commitment.

I’m ready to celebrate 2014 — but I need your help creating a downloadable calendar of quotes. My newsletter subscribers will receive a PDF version of the calendar  – and 5 subscribers will receive a customized calendar and a copy of one of my books. Go here for more information.
