Eclipse: the movie vs the book

The movie "Eclipse", the third instalment in the Twilight saga, came out just as I was finishing reading the book by Stephenie Meyer, so I decided to go and see what the screen adaptation of the teen-age romance was like. I have not seen the first two films, but having read the first two books, I knew what the story was all about.
